Estrategias de diferenciación de marketing: el caso del retail de moda en España

Resumen

El impacto del marketing en el sector del retail de moda en España es creciente en un escenario de evolución desde la publicidad tradicional hasta el marketing digital y las experiencias de marca, que modifican la relación con el consumidor en plena Sociedad de la Banda Ancha. La investigación pretende descubrir qué impulsa la elección de una marca de moda. Metodológicamente, se combina la técnica cuantitativa (una encuesta dirigida a consumidores de moda, en España, con una muestra de n = 209) y la cualitativa (grupo de discusión con una decena de personas de la generación Y y Z interesadas en el sector de la moda). Los resultados muestran que el consumidor está informado, es selectivo y muy conectado, y que valora tanto la información que encuentra de forma autónoma como las experiencias que las marcas son capaces de ofrecerle. Las redes sociales se consolidan como un espacio clave, mientras que el marketing experiencial emerge como una herramienta esencial para diferenciarse en un mercado saturado y muy competitivo. Se concluye que las marcas que deseen mantener su competitividad deben apostar por estrategias digitales más creativas, experienciales y orientadas a un consumidor que ya no busca solo productos, sino significado y valor añadido.
