Alfabetización en inteligencia artificial generativa y la expresión oral en inglés en educación básica regular

Resumen

A pesar del auge de las tecnologías digitales, los estudiantes de educación básica regular suelen manifestar limitaciones en su expresión oral en inglés debido a la enseñanza tradicional y la falta de entornos de práctica auténtica, ignorándose aún cómo influye la alfabetización crítica en Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en esta competencia. La investigación tuvo como objetivo establecer la relación entre la alfabetización en inteligencia artificial generativa y la expresión oral en inglés en estudiantes de educación básica regular. Se eligió un diseño no experimental, de nivel descriptivo, de alcance correlacional, de enfoque cuantitativo, se aplicaron dos cuestionarios estructurados a través de la técnica de la encuesta para recoger los datos de una muestra conformada por 210 estudiantes. Los hallazgos revelaron que el 61,8% de los estudiantes presenta un nivel bajo de alfabetización en inteligencia artificial generativa y 28,1% posee un nivel medio de desarrollo de la expresión oral en idioma inglés, además se evidenció una correlación positiva alta entre ambas variables (r=0.640; p=0.000). Se concluye que la alfabetización en IA generativa mantiene una alta correlación positiva y significativa con la expresión oral del idioma inglés, por lo que su integración didáctica y pedagógica contribuye al fortalecimiento de competencias comunicativas mediante prácticas autónomas, críticas, interactivas y contextualizadas.
